Too bad there aren't any more mid-XXLs available for me. Ah well.
Do their sizes run small? It sounds that could be the case.
I ordered a pair of these last year. I wear a size 11 in Timberland and Redwing Iron Ranger boots. The size L boots fit but are snug because I have wide feet. I usually wear these without socks walking to the gym, yoga or taking my dogs around the block for a short walk. If you have bigger feet I would go with XL These boots are warm, comfortable and fairly waterproof in light city snow but I’ve never worn them out in heavy snow. I live in Toronto, Canada which is a little worse than New York in terms of winter weather so hopefully this info helps anyone with sizing or quality questions.
Meh, no love for XXL
I wear an 11.5 in most hikers, should I get 11.5 or 12? ALso are these waterproof??
Vibram... Please, Please, Please start making 3XLs. Love the concept but need larger/wider.
I've got a pair of mid brown L from the last drop and they're too small. Don't suppose anyone got a pair of XLs that are too big and wants to swap?
Going by some of the comments, i am reluctant to buy because of the vague sizing.
Got these boots today, in mid shearling, from the last drop. They felt incredibly tight to my toes, when i tried them - without socks! I ordered my regular size, as much as i could referring the strange sizing system. a. are these meant to be used with or without socks? b. Those with experience: does the front part tend to soften? it looks pretty strong, at least in comparison to my toes. c. Is it maybe a japanese tradition-conspiration to make people's feet smaller all over the globe? or d. should I ask to return and replace?
Are they waterproof/work well as water shoes?
TommyGoana
No
no L size ? :(
I had no interest in these, then I got the emails from MD, decided to join the drop, and when it was maybe a week or so away from the ship date, I get an email saying my order was cancelled because they ran out of stock or something. And now they're back. Yeah...I'm just going to skip it this time around.
Still no XL boots in the Mid Shearling, none last drop either from my recollection as I couldn't get them then either

These are a closeout so there will be no more. This has dropped like 4 or 5 times now and the selections keep getting smaller and smaller
Anybody have any images of these boots used in streetwear/avant garde styles?
No Mid-L size :C
Massdrop, please stop emailing me about these stupid boots. I didn't like them the first 20 times
No XL in the Mids :(
At least the picture in the email matches the shoe they are selling now. Still don't want them.
The email for the shoe version of these keeps linking to the drop for the boots

It's irksome. The shoe version doesn't come up in search either!
I own the mid in black and it takes some getting used to putting them on. The boots have held up so far (6 months of around the house wearing)
I can't find mid black XL, in available nor sold out, are they not available in this size?

I just bought a pair in the previous drop... like a week ago... But L seemed too small for me, so I requested the drop expecting the neoprene mid in XL but did not found it... i kinda thought that maybe I came in too late
bait and switch, much?
confused. Looks nothing like the shoes in the email.
another definition of ugly boots

I just bought them and feel they have an amazing design unlike is the word but it is just a matter of personal perspective, I for one feel tex-mex or cowboy boots at amongst the worst eyesores ever.
Anyone else thought of ninjas? :D
Massdrop, please stop emailing me about these stupid boots. I didn't like them the first 10 times
The text for the drop matches the text from the email (except for the text in the blue box regarding models and pricing), but the title and pictures are for the boots. Sadly, when you choose to join the drop, that page is 100% boot-related, so you still can't place an order).
Anyway, could anyone who has actually worn a pair comment on the comfort, especially regarding the heel? I don't have plantar fasciitis or anything like that, but I did break my calcaneus ("heel bone") and it never got set properly, so I tend to gravitate towards squishy-heeled shoes (actually, I mainly wear Crocs when I don't need a tennis shoe). Are these thin-soled or are they just classified as "flats" (like, is that a style or a lack of arch support or ??).
I like the concept, because I have a hard time with shoes. I have a prosthetic left foot and my right foot is often too wide for the average pair of shoes, so having something that might possibly conform to foot width and also allow me to change my left shoe without having to take my leg off would be extremely freeing.

I wear 5 fingers sometimes and the biggest part to get used to is the toe>heel walking rather than the usual heel>toe
NeonLightning
Both are valid ways, depends a lot on speed and terrain which is better
The email I received for this drop showed the shoes, not boots... Little disappointing.

Sold out in Canada :/

And a month later they did it again. Well done massdrop. 😪
Why are no weights listed? Ultralight??? Wink, wink, nudge, nudge?
Are the shearling ok for occasional submersion in creeks, or should I get neoprene ??
