Vicovation Opia 2 1440p Dash Camera

Though it was released before the Opia 1, Vicovation’s Opia 2 dash cam is packed with the latest technologies to protect you at the wheel. The higher end of the two dash cams, it comes equipped with an Ambarella A12 processor and an Omnivision sensor, a combination that makes for stunning 1440p HD video at 30 frames per second. The field of view is also impressive. At 160 degrees, it can capture everything in the scene with ease. Furthermore, the dash cam allows you to play your footage back over the OPIAViewer app through your smartphone. Aside from video quality, the build quality is top notch as well. A supercapacitor allows the dash cam to record at temperatures up to nearly 170 degrees, and the adhesive mount is nice and strong to keep the device from rattling around. As far as modes, the Opia 2 has parking mode, a built-in G-sensor, loop recording, and time lapse mode, too.
