These are great kitchen knives, probably the best at this price. But two things:
1. This isn't an EDC. Nobody EDCs a chefs knife.
2. This price isn't that great. I bought a 4 piece set (this knife plus a bread knife, a 6 inch utility knife, and pearing knife from the same line) for $60 from Amazon a couple years ago (less than $18 more than this final drop price shipped)
