Bulk order shipped! The vendor informed us that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey. Based on the tracking provided, the order is scheduled to arrive on 8/1.

Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Victorinox Alliance Watch and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 8/4.

It makes sense to me. If you require lume then this is not the watch for you. I too prefer some lume on a dress watch. The design is simple, elegant and functional. VSA, give us some lume please!

lionseekerThree other things I really like: 1) you usually do not find non-glare sapphire crystals on a watch at this price point; 2) I actually like quartz movements for this kind of watch--I do not have a watch winder, and the few automatics I own have to be reset when I wear them, as they have run out of power; and 3) finally--it's nice to have the small 24 hour markers on the dial, for people like me who are numerically challenged :) This is a really nice simple designed watch for this price.

There might be a hairline of lume on the hands. But then, as you stated, it is a dress watch, so the absence of lume is a non-issue.

lionseekerWhat happens with me is I wear my dress watches all day, and often have them on when I fall asleep. I know that sounds goofy, but I'm a geezer (age 62). So it's nice to be able to know the time when I wake up groggy in total darkness around 3-5 a.m., hoping to get extra sleep time before going to work. I really do like the design of the watch.....Best.

Nice, however, seems as if hands/hour marks are not luminous. Even though this is a "dress watch", that design element could have been done. Kills the drop for me.
