Love the watch, but what is the warranty on it?

BanterCatActually, these watches don't appear to have a warranty. I participated on the last drop and the watch did not come with a warranty card; also, this model of the Alpnach line is discontinued. The watch I got works beautifully, no problems whatsoever, but this particular drop doesn't seem to offer a warranty. I've never dealt with Victorinox support, so I can't say if they would accept a watch bought on this drop for service.
The rule around here seems to be that if there is no warranty information stated on the drop details, then that drop doesn't have a warranty. Strangely, Massdrop continues to ignore every message (on multiple drops site wide) asking them to clarify warranty/provenance issues...
The deal is good though... the watch was offered for $500 when I joined the last time plus $15 for shipping... now its $50 less and with free shipping.

JakeRobertsFair enough. But i agree. Good Auto chronos usually go for 1000+ so its so worth it. Besides victorinox watches are sooo durable

BanterCatDon't get me wrong, $450 for a true Valjoux 7750 on a wearable 42mm case is a steal. I paid $65 more and even then it was an awesome deal. Just wanted to let people know that given Massdrop's current transparency issues and their contined refusal to clearly answer (if at all) warranty/provenance questions, that these watches probably don't have any warranty whatsoever.
My watch has been problem-free since I received it though. I did have to return two Victorinox Cloud de Paris auto chronos (45mm) because the chrono seconds hand stuttered badly. That model debuted back in 2010-2011 and was also discontinued when it was offered here several times last year.

JakeRobertsI have a few automatic watches from Omega planet ocean, Panerai and 2 two Victorinox watches, I wear my AirBoss Mach 6 everyday and also bought a Alpnach limited edition, and as for warranty it's 3 years with the card, I've had to use it once before and it was so effortless. This is a Great deal!

BanterCati joined the victorinox maverick sports chronograph. manual say 3 years but ONLY if the warranty card is stamped and signed by a certificated retailer, wich it wasn´t. so if i have bad luck i will sit on my repair costs if anything happens. on the other hand it´s a victorinox, chances of getting a monday watch are low. i own a pulsar watch from 2006 with 7T62 Seiko clockwork in it. Still works and that watch took a true beating.
