ALERT, ALERT, ALERT! This watch is much smaller than you might expect it to be; it could easily pass for a women's watch. I am by no means a big and/or macho type guy, but this was a huge disappointment when it arrived. The band is also somewhat cheap and flimsy. (Please note: I'm not saying this is not a nice watch, but it's very very small!!)

The YouTube reviews (although very detailed) are also very deceiving. Unfortunatly, since Massdrop does not accept any returns, I had to sell mine on eBay for a loss as soon as I received it. I highly recommend trying on this watch before buying it.
As a side note, the box is also different than what is shown in the Massdrop pic. This might matter to you if it's a gift.

winiarNo, I do not know anything about the warranty on this watch.
Also I did not say anything to Massdrop about the box since the watch was too small anyways and I was forced to sell it on eBay at a loss (since all sales are final).
My suggestion is that unless you are absolutely sure about an item, do not buy it on Massdrop as there is no recourse after your purchase.

BarryBogaveIt says right in the description that this is a 38mm case. I KNEW going into my purchase that this was going to be a smaller watch on the wrist, but it is by no means a "ladies watch." I also have a Victorinox Officer's 1884 Classic that is a 35mm case. Not all Men's watches need to be wrist-mounted wall clocks.
I really like mine. It is smaller, but the bold pips at the hour markers are large, which makes it read like a larger watch in my book. IMO, Lume is really good, but typical of all charged-by-light lumes it only lasts so long before it dims out. It is better than any of my other watches though. My only wish is that the wrist strap was longer. I wear mine on the 3rd to last hole, which tends to push the watch slightly outboard on my wrist over time because the clasp is offset. I'll probably be in the market for a longer strap at some point, but for right now it is a minor nuisance.

HKP7M8I agree with your review 100%. Love mine, but the strap is short and feels narrow. But the weight and construction of the watch is great. I may try this; measuring to the outside of the lugs, and then buy a rubber strap that width, then use an Xacto knife to cut the rubber around the lugs. I think it would be a good look, the rubber obviously won't run or fray, and the wider strap will be longer. I am going to do that with a leather rally strap on another watch, because I saw it on a watch on ebay and really liked the way it looked. Just a thought.

HKP7M8Yes, you are correct...it's says right in the description that it is 38mm...however, not all 38mm watches are created equal. I own several 38mm already, which is why I was initially confident when I bought this watch.
I am just letting people know that this watch is very much on the small side, and since there is a zero return policy, to suggest to them that they should try it first.

Here it is on my wrist. I have medium hands, but still hardly a "ladies watch."

col.ritchieFWIW, i have relatively smallish wrists and hands, so it looks good on me. If your teen is 6'3" and 250 lbs football player, then it will probably be too small. If your teen is smaller framed or a younger teen then i think its a great watch. I am 5'9" and 180 lbs and I'm at the upper limit for the strap. I think the case is fine for size, even for people who are reasonably bigger than me. My 12 y.o. son loves swiping mine on occasion when i wear different watches.
