Though they’ve been around since 1884, Victorinox creations like this Swiss Army Outrider Damast LE 2017 consistently prove the forward-thinking mindset that has earned the company a stamp of quality over the years. A true collector’s piece, this multi-tool is as eye-catching as it is functional, with a 4.4-inch blade made from corrosion- and wear-resistant Damast steel Read More

Well done massdrop on the pricing! I'm surprised you got it so low compared to the msrp they were asking. I wish this drop was a little later as I would be all over this. Unfortunately the timing is tough for me. I really hope some people who get this post pictures.
Nice job massdrop!

You might want to fix the blade length spec. Not a big deal but pretty sure this knife does not have 4.4 " blade. Cheers

Man, I truly love Victorinox, for most of my kitchen knives as well as many pocketknives over the years, but I'd prefer to see drops focused more on the functional stuff than the collector's stuff. 20-30% off my Cybertool Lite would have been a nice drop to join.

Unfortunately again very limited list of countries for shipment. The saving after VAT and customs is negligible campared to local price. But for any american collector it is a sweet deal. Especially taking into account that last year's one had MSRP 220 Euros and sells now between 300 and 400 Euros.

Thanks, I had received the message that y'all were going to looking into acquiring some of these in the discussions. I almost didn't see the drop until I scrolled down a bit. I had posted earlier that I currently have a "standard" red attached to my key fob and that I was looking forward to upgrading this valuable accessory/tool because it is easily both a tool and an accessory. The Damascus should make it an interesting ice breaker in social gatherings... as for the money saved... it only gets spent on other Massdrops so kudos to your curating team.

Shipping? Does it ship to Canada? Is the shipping cost presented somewhere? I didn't see it.

JOYCEfromNSShipping is $7.50 to Nova Scotia. You can see the shipping cost when you go to the "Commit/Join Drop" page and select your address.

I love my SAK's, but as I use my knives I'll pass. I'd feel horrible scratching this blade even if the Damascus is probably better quality than the normal Victorinox steel. Seems like a great price though.

This is an excellent price. All other sites that I checked are at full MSRP. I don't know if it's a collector piece for most people but there are many SAK collectors Who will be looking for this knife.

Gadgetman7Victorinox is vehemently enforcing the MSRP on this, and any retailer who advertises it for less can loose their ability to ever buy from them again.
