Does anyone know if these are custom massdrop made? The description is similar to other sites including viking's site. Is this pan set the same as current offerings from viking?: http://www.vikingrange.com/consumer/product/products/culinary/cookware/3-ply/viking-3-ply-12--non-stick-fry-pan--mirror-finish#product-overview

datyetiNo they are not the same the ones you linked are 3 ply stainless witch is a better all around pan. Anodized aluminum is best for things like eggs, omelets, pancakes, french toast ext. Stainless and cast iron are better for meats or things that need more heat.

KozicAnodizing is the outside (not on the cooking surface) coating commonly used on aluminum which doesn't affect the way a pan cooks. Non-stick is probably what you meant to say.
