Got these, as well as the Zwilling Ballasera. Definitely prefer the Ballasera, not just because of the price and finish options, but mainly because these are too big and hefty for my family. Probably meant for people at least 175cm in height XD

mtnjpnI'm also having significant rust issues. We got the set with the cross-hatch grooves on the handles, and they're incredibly prone to rusting overnight.

mtnjpnYes. They are awful for that purpose. I wish I would have known that and not purchased it.

Love the "Style", but when you need place settings for 16, its a bit too pricey for me

Where are these manufactured? Most brands import steel from less-expensive places. They then finish and stamp them.

JNSKMIn the mid-1970s, Asian imports began to flood into the UK., Viners started importing cutlery to finish and stamp "Made in Sheffield." Loans for expansion were crippling the firm and they went bust in 1985. Name was purchased by Oneida in the early 2000's and a few years ago purchased by Rayware. So if country of origin is important to you rather than a marketing company attempting to backdoor an impression this as a UK product its not likely one for you. Massdrop should be required to list country of origin on all the offers. It matters to many of us!

Wow! The "Knightsridge" design is very cool looking but you'd need two sets to actually have enough for friends or the next load in your dishwasher. Eight of everything would suffice but at double the price or $120 plus shipping.

rayce444Knightsridge caught my eye too with the nice handle pattern. The spoon shape looks unwieldy however. I'm with you on the price for a full set of 8.

I love spoons with unique shapes. My biggest question is... Of the 3 styles, which one actually feels soft in the hands? Meaning the edges of the handle are rounded or smooth or thick enough to spread a fine edge. I for one cannot stand cutlery that stabs/presses into my fingers when using them vigorously.

I bought the Mayfair as well, so far so good. I've had it for a couple weeks but, only used it a few times though.
