Any chance you will be doing a drop on the Violectric DAC V850 in the near future?

nomoredreamerI've been using mine from the previous drop and can report it's really, really good, just make sure you get the Tenor driver update from violectric-usa.com if you are on OS X/usb. With top drawer Stax headphones I'm hearing deeper into the music than I've ever heard going back years to horns and other high resolution systems I've owned. It also has a touch of a nice analog/turntable to it. Deep, deep bass like a TT and nice and smooth.
I'll guess the 850 won't go on MD much because of the price, it'll be hundreds more, frankly for little benefit IMO*. At $700 the V2 is a steal.
* The main difference between the two seems to be two DAC's/channel + remote control. On the former see this ...

which I agree from an EE perspective. You gain complexity cost at the benefit of averaging and more current, the latter easy to mitigate elsewhere. The volume control is kind of nice though.
