kjlingWe have switched away from .icc development and are looking in to pre-purchase calibration as well as hardware calibration options.
While current technology requires a HUGE investment in order to offer hardware calibration we are looking in to doing this in a much different (more efficient) fashion.
Offering a plethora of .icc profiles is not really user friendly and would simply pass the "duty" of calibration to our customers; which is the exact opposite of customer-friendly.
We are working on updating our current lines including upgrading the backlighting to decrease hot spots as well as increase our natural calibration and color gamut.
ViotekUSAHonestly a v nice monitor for the price, only thing holding it back a tad is calibration.. if the colors and gamma etc were resolved at factory, I would recommend it to non-gamer friends looking for a big monitor. Blacks and colors need quite a bit of tweaking out of the box as it stands. Guess we'll just figure it out ourselves ...
