@ViotekUSA, so my monitor was great when I first got it, I loved it. But now it just says no signal whenever I turn off my pc. Even if I leave the monitor on. It's been gradually getting worse, today I can't even get it on.
Airstuff17Can you explain the issue in more detail?
The problem you are experiencing is:
1.) It does not sleep when the PC is turned off
2.) it does not turn ON when the PC is turned ON (leave sleep mode)?
Questions:
Does the monitor "work" if you power cycle the monitor while the PC is on and communicating a video signal?
ViotekUSABasically, when I turn on my pc, the monitor is hard to come out of sleep mode. I have to turn it off and on a lot and I also have to hard reset my pc too.
Airstuff17Do you use HDMI to connect?
If so, have you tried a different cable?
That is the most common issue to address monitors to waking up from sleep followed by: loose cable, damaged/dirty HDMI port (either side), Hibernation settings (win only), and finally a failed capacitor in the monitor itself (defect).
1.) can you try an alternate HDMI cable (problem is rare with DP)?
2.) where are you located if we need to proceed with warranty service?
ViotekUSAI use Display port 1.2. I doubt it's the cable, I just bought it a month ago, and it has a locking feature. I haven't tried any other cables, but I have tried 3 other display ports on my gpu and motherboard. I think I have an extra display cable I'll try that. Also another thing I just noticed is, there are three dead pixels on the display
And I'm in the United States.
Airstuff17Okay, well we need to replace your monitor under our zero-tolerance dead-pixel policy anyway :)

Airstuff17Skip the manual, we have plenty.
I would worry most about: styrofoam protection and exterior shipping carton.
It should be on your digital receipt (if you purchased from massdrop).
However, simply upload a copy of the digital receipt that massdrop sent you after your purchase.
To be honest, I am not familiar with exactly what massdrop sends as confirmation of purchase/receipt (I am R&D not so much customer-facing).
ViotekUSAAlright thank you for all of your help, and do you think I'll need to find the Display port cable that came with it? I have no idea where that's at.
Airstuff17Well, is that the DP cable that you are using?
I would prefer to have it sent back so we can properly test the monitor to recreate the issue.
We actually take these "small" problems and recreate them to increase our ability to respond to them obn a manufacturing level.
I was assuming you were using the included DP cable and I would like to test that specifically for issues.
However, If you have lost the cable then simply return what you have.
ViotekUSAI'm using a cable I bought in anticipation for this monitor. I put the cable that came with the monitor somewhere for backup if I ever needed it. I'll look around but I'm not positive if I can find it.
Airstuff17SImply return the monitor and what you do have available.
I am not going to worry about a DP cable; my main focus is to expedite your replacement and gte this issue addressed.
