Also is warranty going to be covered? Some people bought similar alarms and got warranty denied because it was sold on Amazon.

BachI was also wondering about this. The Viper 5706V warranty states that the warranty is only valid if the system is purchased from and installed by an "authorized Directed dealer".

BachI think the only warranty that would apply to this drop is DOA. If you purchase and have one installed at an authorised dealer then full warranty would be applied.
