The usual Bock steel nibs, as supplied to 20 other companies, offered in the usual "distinctive fancy plastic" body, with the usual blah cartridge / converter filling system for $200? You are paying at least $100 for the Visconti branding here, and this pen has none of the distinctive features that makes the "Age" pens (possibly) worth their high costs.
Rosebud41I would agree with you. I won't be buying this one. For one thing, I can't stand Visconti's pocket clip design; it's clumsy looking and the name is way, way too prominent on it. Not an attractive feature in my opinion. And I'd agree, for $200 I should be getting a piston filler... or a 14k nib... or a selection of special nibs (who missed the boat on a music nib here???) ...or just "something", anything, that makes it worth the spend.
rajiI understand this sentiment but I am very much enjoying the Van Gogh Room in Arles which is a variation of this model without the musical images. . I do own a number of oversize piston fillers with gold nibs and am glad to own this 1/3 of a Homo Sapiens!
