This gray, domed hexagon wallpaper looks like it would be awesome on a curved widescreen! I wonder if anyone has this, or if whoever staged the photo at Drop can chime in?

Adding/Including Memories
I lost my dad last year (2023) and have been finding ways to include keepsakes/memories in my workstation. I've dabbled here and there with doing small woodworking projects and attempted a wrist rest from a piece of oak I picked up with him from my great uncles wood shop. I milled it to fit a 60% keyboard as I hadn't decided what keyboard I would be using it on and thought that's where most of my wrist would be in contact even typing on a full keyboard. I gave it a torched/burn appearance as I really was lost in what to do. I found an old shell casing from going hunting with my dad in my hunting pack and decided to imbed it into the end of the wrist rest so it would just have a little difference and a small story behind it as well. I have other things around my workstation from family and friends, but it just feels a little more special having worked on it and adding something small that has a memory for me to it. (Purple was my grandmothers favorite color and I have kinda now...

Holy cow, this thing is way better than I expected!
First off, just having a "real" monitor mount is a very noticable ergonomics upgrade compared to the stands that come with monitors. It seems obvious that adjusting a monitor to actually be centered at eye-height should be more ergonomic, but the masses haven't really ever experienced this. Increases alertness and reduces fatigue, but in actual use it just "feels right, why did I ever settle for less?"
The Monoprice one I got for, like, $10 cheaper could at least achieve the height benefit, and like this one also has the benefit of suddenly clearing up desk space and allowing the user to swivel the monitor completely out of the way if you need your desk for non-computing purposes (I think this enhances my creativity, though sometimes I'll use my home desk as a dinner table too, haha).
This Vivo feels more "robust" and lives up to the "Deluxe" part of it's name. The Vivo lets me adust height, tilt, rotation, and extension on the fly. I bought the "two arm" monoprice (MP) before so I could extend and retract the monitor's distance, but honestly the MP sucked at full extension because it drooped and wobbled worse than this Vivo. To make that fact more obvious, the MP had no rotation and only like 3° tilt adjustment, and invariably the tilt would also droop down. The Vivo feels free because it has full rotation and tilt! I did have to "+" the spring tension a tiny bit out of the box, but So far no issues with droop over time - then again I only just set it up ;)
It's one of those bonus things, but the Vivo is also a major aesthetic upgrade. The "Stormtrooper" white and black arms coordinate with my walls and desk, and the chrome pole looks nice and doesnt need hidden. It also actually has cable management... though I was only able to fit one HDMI cable inside the arm, i simply looped the rest behind the arm and pole, and used the rear clip to hold them together. I also feel more confident letting my monitor "float" above my desk and keyboard, as newrby as I please. This would also look good on a desk island, from all angles of view; great for a Point-Of-Sale monitor you might like to swivel around to face the customer.

I only had to "tighten" the adjustable load-spring once because the 24" monitor slowly drooped down (stopped shy of the table), a few cranks and not had an issue since that installation day. Huge upgrade well worth the ~$13 price difference!
