Surely that should be up to us, whether we're willing to pay for it. At least having the option would be nice.

I think he meant that the shipping cost within the States kills it as a deal, because it's so high compared to the price. Never mind shipping cost to anywhere else. I suspect this is the manufacturer restricting shipping to the US only by the way.
