Argh! My case is one inch too fat!
Well my Define R6 is too big and heavy. Kinda wish I went ITX this build... Maybe next.
I was considering this but my case is 8 1/4" wide, feelsbad :/
You really need to check the weight requirements for this...it's likely that your comp is too heavy.
This could actually work really well with something like a Thermaltake Core P series case (I have a P1) as its main chassis is steel, sturdy but very narrow so you'd have no issue. Since its an open chassis and built to wall mount you can also remove the feet and have this just hold it neatly under your desk. Would almost look integrated depending on where you attach it (top clamp going under the motherboard, bottom support under PSU).
My case is like 0.2 inch to wide :(((

I think you may be able to drill out new holes, they would have to be tapped as well. Just looked at mine at it has an extra 1/2 inch on the track which adjusts for the width.
thanka for advice bruh
is it good enough for atx case
Would be nice if it actually fit normal cases. Most cases now have space behind the motherboard tray and space for full width cooler, giving a case 9-10 inch wide.

I was just looking at it and saw it said max 8" width. I just looked at my case and went "ha, nope"

yep 10x21 here. too bad
Love the idea, but really want one compatible with my thermaltake core v1.
$39.99 on Amazon right now, and only 1 left in stock. http://a.co/aQfVZn2
If the drop reaches $21.99 it's not actually that bad of a deal.
Love the idea of this, except that my computer desk is glass.... Still, I'll have to keep an eye on this for next time....

this. I get sad when I see stuff like this since my desk is tempered glass :(

It has points to mount it to a wall if you would like to place it that way.
What's the weight limit? Why wouldn't it be one of the first things to write in the specs? I have 30kg of PC to mount lol

where would you even mount this if it was strong enough?
Finally got around to mounting this under my desk. Instead of using the kit that comes in the packaging I went to my local hardware store and picked up countersunk machine screws, washers, and nuts. While I am no diy master it turned out pretty well. My desk was old and the finish is starting to peel anyways so around the screw holes I used some sandpaper to get rid of any grit then used wall putty to fill in the gaps (its what I had laying around). Overall it is a pretty damn good installation and now it sits flush on top of my desk.
Anyone have this actual mount? If so, care to share some pics of their builds?
Considering getting this and dusting off my pc again esp since the new Windows update with linux, amirite?

I found this on amazon reviews. it seems like it is not mounted to desk but the cupboard under it. looks pretty clean if you don't need somewhere to put your legs

edit: oh, the reviewer looks like a cool dude!
I have a very similar mount that I use for my UPS. Keeps most of the cords off the floor. If you have a smaller case, but still takes up too much room on your desk, I'd recommend getting this.

The UPS I have weighs 15.9 lbs, which is much less than what you'd want it to hold. You have an incredibly beefy UPS lol. Way nicer than mine. Here is the one I have (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16842102132) I'd check with the manufacturer, or hopefully someone on massdrop can help you. The description and specs here seem to just be copy/paste from the product website, which doesn't list a weight restriction either...

Thanks for the reply. Ya, I suspect this would not work out well.
Been putting off making a desk; I should really just suck it up and do that, rather than trying random, lazy half-measures to deal with the machine pile.
Re: the UPS - it is intentionally over-provisioned. The power in my place is a bit flakey; I see power loss about twice a year on average. Because of some of the services it runs, I'd rather it not go down if it doesn't have to, and this gives it somewhere around an hour of runtime to try to wait out the disruption before giving up and shutting down at (I think) 15%-UPS capacity. So far, that's only happened once (knock on veneer).
Man so tempting but it won't fit an NZXT PHAN001
Shipping to the Netherlands would be nice....
Jappie
Doesn't say anywhere (unless MD made a mistake when listing it) that they won't ship internationally...it just says shipping in the US is free and the supplier will handle domestic shipping.
Send a message to Support to see if there was an error in the listing.
Sidenote: You'd be better off buying this on Amazon or your choice of site since, depending on where you live and if they even offer shipping from a distributer within your country, it'll end up costing FAR more than the dropped price......
what happens if you bump into your computer?

Swivel time.

You have good taste in manga/anime

My problem with those mounts is they don't give you enough room for both full size keyboard and mouse. If you were using a 10 keyless or 60% then it would work great.
