First off, the cloth and size didn't even fit my foot. It was tight around the middle of my foot and the laces were wack. On top of that, I would have to unlace and relace my shoes just to get my feet out or in those shoes.
Good looking shoes, but they run tight. (Burgundy Twill)
I have gotten a few compliments from other people regarding the look of the shoes. They are also really comfortable, but only after breaking them in. They run a bit tight at first, even though I ordered a slight size up. Another complaint is that the soles of the shoes get really worn down, and I have never experienced that problem with other sneakers that I have purchased. Overall I would say they're good for looks, but don't wear them if you're wearing them outside on rougher surfaces.
Never have I ever worn shoes that gave me bloody blisters on the heel of my foot just 10 minutes into walking with them. I'm not the only one with comfort issues it seems. Size 8.5 US Men was a good fit for me, but the heels have an abnormal bump of rubber(or whatever other material it may be) that keeps on rubbing against my heels. Exceptionally annoying for the first few minutes, excruciatingly painful for the next few hours. The inside heel of my right shoe is already stained with blood. Not worth the trouble and the money for these shoes.
My shoe came too small, ripped shoe laces and the quality seemed cheap. The QC for VLADO is terrible. Read the other reviews. Not sure if they've made any headway on this since I purchased them but I will not be buying again. Off to GoodWill they go.
I like the build and quality, but they run a little tight. Not a shoe to wear for hours on end, but for a short stint they're fine. I would order again though in a larger size.
The converse style makes them run a little narrow and the ankle is a little high/tight which will rub a lot (just like any other shoe) when you first start to wear them.
I actually started wearing these when I ride my motorcycle, the bottom has some pretty decent grip and work really when there is light rain or gravel on the rode.
If you like the Vans or Converse style of shoe (looking like duck feet) then these are a good pick for you.
