PatrickHello @Patrick, no I am not an international customer. I actually reside in Southern California and usually experience UPS shipping status updates within 24 hours of billing initiation.
If people are wondering, a few hours after my post here I was contacted by Massdrop support via email by Ash and Nelson. They made sure to stay in communication with me explaining that Friday had been a busy day and that they normally don't work weekends. Ultimately I've kept in touch with the comments here and am relieved that the CEO is refunding our payments, in addition to tacking on $50 massdrop credit. I was not too confident in the authenticity of these VMODA M100s based off of the posts with pictures others have been so kind to post here. Nelson assured me via email that my refund had been processed so I'm assuming it will be 1-2 more business days to show up on my credit card activity.
I looked massdrop.com up on the Alexa index before this drop and invested in the drop because it does rank in the top 10,000 webpages in the USA and has enough traffic to be legitimate. I have learned that Massdrop is a small company, and is fairly new. With new websites there do exist growing pains, but I am happy with how customer service has handled this. I will most likely be a repeat customer with other Massdrop products, but get my headphones elsewhere. I believe in this drop the distributor becomes the ultimate one to blame. For future drops if Massdrop could be better about communicating with its customers, I feel people would feel reassured.
I do have a question similar to others in these comments. How will our $50 Massdrop credit be applied to our account? Will we automatically see a deduction on our next drop, or will our account show $50 credit? Thanks and Happy Holidays everyone!

VidurgWould you mind expanding on why you question the authenticity of the headphones based off the pictures?
I would just like to know because I am one of the people who took pics, and I didn't see anything to suggest a counterfeit. They sound excellent, too, so if you could point out what you saw that made you think that way I may reconsider my choice to keep them.

ryooncI'm not @Vidurg but I think it might be the fact that the serial numbers aren't fully there, and that they don't come with any warranty from V-Moda. There was a post a few pages back where someone emailed V-Moda about this, and they stated that MD wasn't getting these cans from a legit dealer. That's what I can think of, at least. I'm honestly glad that MD pulled the plug, so to speak, on this drop. Yeah, I'm short a present for my SO, but I would rather be confident in having a 100% legit, lifetime warranty covered pair of M-100 cans.

XentherHad I not received mine already, I might have said the same.
I'm off to a different country next week however, and given that they've already assured us of full warranty coverage (other than the immortal life program, which I'm willing to forgo), I'm deciding to keep them so I have something to listen to during my 28 hours of round-trip travel...
