Very few people have joined this and the associated amp drop, I think this has been somewhat of a misstep.
If you want to push a DAC and amp combo selling at the exact same price as the Schiit Modi/Magni stack, it better have a bunch of reviews backing it up.
And all we have here is one review... In Polish, and no comparison with any popular alternatives in its price range.
DoctorXI feel ya! That said, a DAC that has the same price point as the Schiit Modi, but with 32 bit and 192 kHz sampling rates seemed like something of interest to the community.
If you're really interested in a review, I could write one up, since I have about 30 ~ 40 hours of listening time on this DAC with a T1 / A1 setup.

AndrewLekashmanThanks for the offer, it wouldn't hurt to do a review of the VMV dac and amp separately and together as a combo; however just a single data-point/reviewer isn't going to be able to create a consensus on the performance/quality as it's very subjective.
Case in point I was part of the HiSoundAudio BA100 drop, which is new on the market and had about 5-6 reviews claiming it sounds good. After I burned it in for a week and tested it out I came away disappointed with its sound quality and doubting how those reviewers were able to claim it sounded good, I was barely able to drive it to adequate volume out of my iPhone 4, and to think it comes with a smartphone remote...
So now I'm very, very hesitant to buy into any audio product sound-unheard unless it is an established product on the market, backed by many good reviews.
