It's amusing that people will scoff at something like this for the price while walking around with a ZT titanium flipper or a Sebenza that they can "justify" having by opening the mail or the next package from Massdrop with it. I know this because I do the same! Not going to order one of these but I appreciate well made trinkets - including the dozens of "necessary" knives I own. Wouldn't a video be helpful in selling these?

Ogen_the_MaticLOL! That's why I got a $20 on discount Kershaw Cryo 1555 Ti (that I didn't even pay for, cause it was a gift to me). Helps to justify my weird hobbies! Antique calculators! Hahaha! I've spent hundreds on ONE machine! I have over a hundred machines in my collection (though most were acquired cheaply). How about the >$200 I spent on a custom keyboard... You betcha, dontcha know! I'm planning a second one after that! it's necessary that I have a super compact bluetooth one, for when I'm not at arms reach of my desk! After that, I'll do another one for my workshop... I bet I'll be looking into a whole new computer by that time, so I'll... you now, have a computer to finally move into the workshop. Of course I need three custom, hand made keyboards! :D
Personally, I could never, EVER justify buying a spinner like this... Cause it's just not my thing. That's all. I respect that for some people, it is SOOOO their thing! :P Same as most people won't give two hoots whether I have a 1965 Smith Corona Marchant Cogito 240SR, or the FDAI "navball" from an Israeli F4 Phantom simulator (being installed into a Kerbal Space Program "cockpit instrument panel" styled controller, no less). I bet I've spent over $400 on EACH of those two ventures! My fidgeting is building stuff. If I get bored, I start soldering, or cutting, or grinding, or even just designing...
If I were so inclined to actually have something like this spinner... I'd go over to my milling machine and cut one out! Reminds me of the shelf of models I built for my model train I never played with as a kid! It's all in the making for me! :P
I've learned to simply pick up my jaw from the floor and carry on. Someone else will give me a chuckle when I watch their jaw hit the floor at the crap I waste MY money on! ᴖᴗᴖ
