Overrated company. Overrated tops. Bad buying experiences with them and will absolutely not support them. Also , their tops are too fat and the body is too tall giving it a high center of gravity and making it take too long to stabilize. Sometimes they may never stabilize. But still they've been selling this same design for years now, never changing a thing, making only the simplistic laziest changes and coatings and selling on B.S back stories. Expect long slow shipping times well after the drop ship date. EDIT: If you want a real quality top I recommend JLLawson. All hand made, his standard tops are about the same price or less with better performance and looks. He's very responsible and ships same day or next and has many different styles to choose from with one-off pieces dropped every so often.

BoomtownRich and Billetspin are fine and all. And it’s great that you happened to snag one of his cheaper tops. But typically BS tops are in the $175-300+ range and that’s simply out of the affordable reach of most people. Folks like Will at Vorso, Jason at Prometheus (Lambda), and others are serving a different clientele with their affordable designs. Some of us would never have been able to enjoy these if it hadn’t been for these makers. I’m really digging Kemner, Lawson, and NWTops as well. There are all kinds of folks enjoying these products. Don’t criticize them simply because they don’t happen to have the resources that you enjoy. 😊

glennacI'm not criticizing them for resources. I'm criticizing then because out of all the other makers you mentioned, whom I've also bought from, vorso has been the worst.

BoomtownI’m sorry that a “bad buying experience” ruined your opinion of the company. Sounds like you are pretty bitter. I had a completely opposite experience. Last year I received an off-center Vorso via MassDrop (see other drop discussion for the details). After communicating with Will he offered to replace it. Even got upgraded to a Ruby tip unexpectedly. Of course, one anecdotal experience versus another anecdotal experience doesn’t necessarily mean anything either way. Not sure it’s worth trashing the man and his product though. 🤔

glennacI'm an experienced buyer of Vorso products having 3 flat tops and 3 MK1 tops. It's not like I'm coming out of nowhere to trash him; as a once loyal customer who put up with his long ship times; I feel I had every right to expect a better buying experience the more I purchased his products. Instead I was met with delays after delays as inquired about my purchase. Emails went unanswered, and he was ultimately selling out of stock products from his website as if they were still available. Who knows how many customers got this treatment. He held my money for 3 months until I finally canceled payment. He would've held my money indefinitely telling me to wait 3 weeks after 3 weeks and so on. That product was a PVC coated top. Exactly whats available here... 18 months later. Buyers Beware.

BoomtownFair enough. I too have several of his pieces and have never had issues with late shipments. Interestingly, I just ordered his restocked Petrol PVD earlier this week. Typically it takes about a week and a half to arrive here on the west coast of the US. We’ll see. I’ll definitely report back my results.

BoomtownAccording to tracking it has been handed off from Royal Mail to USPS. My guess is it’s over the Atlantic now or being processed in a USPS International Mail facility before traveling to the West Coast. I’ve got text tracking enabled so should get something at the next stage of its progress. My guess is it should arrive anywhere between Saturday and early next week.
