Okay so I installed some o-rings which are really cheap on amazon. 70A which is on the stiff side is only 2-3 bucks shipped and 50A which are the softer ones are about 8-9 bucks. I got the 70A and my suspicion was correct that having that buffer with the o-ring is helping reduce the keycaps from hitting the led lights of the ducky shine 4 which are slightly larger since it is 2 led lights and not one (or like corsair rgb buried deeper down with a transparent flat cap). Now I rarely get that random sticky key feeling like when you spill coke on a calculator and don't have to try and sand down the thickness of the pbt. It is much smoother now and it is also much quieter. Two benefits in one for only 2 bucks if you are cheap like me (most recommend getting the 50A or 40A orings hence the extra cost of those).
And Mark this has been talked about multiple times on the discussion is that corsair, razer, and many gaming keyboard companies do not use standard modifier keys. These keycaps are standard size so they do not fit on those keyboards.
