Do I Need to Lube My Keyboard Switches?

These black PBT Vortex caps use the same stencil font as Ducky uses on their Shine 5 and other ABS caps. Ducky PBT is dye sub. Ducky and Vortex clearly work together on their keyboards. Anyone know what the relationship is?
