These don't look "black" black.
Any owners want to take a shot at describing the shade of gray? The top-printed keycaps look almost glittery. I'm committed for blanks.

BackspinIt's very similar to Ivan's black on black so yeah, a very dark grey.

BackspinYou are correct, they aren't "black" black (Nigel Tufnel would not say "They could be none more black." - Sorry.). I would describe them as a very dark graphite gray; mine are in a keyboard with a "black" black frame and you can definitely tell they are not the same color as the frame, though I think they look grand. Having said that, in the right light, some would say casually they're black. They do have a textured, "grainy" reflectiveness (not unlike graphite, actually), but it's not by any means glittery or "blingy". The legends are printed in a muted gold-ish color. I like them and think they look quite classy.
