DumbUglyDragonyeah but i can actually get what i want. literally every switch/color combination pok3r i had wanted is sold out. and the code has media keys and weighs considerably more. for gaming, weight is important. so is changing your music lol.

DumbUglyDragonHeh, yeah I was excited to see the code61 add in my email this morning. Then I looked at it and racked my brain trying to figure out what was different from the pok3r. If anyone knows of any differences between the two boards please enlighten us :)

DumbUglyDragonI emailed WASD asking about any differences and this was their response (which was very prompt I might add): "These are manufactured by Vortex (they make the Pok3r). We have rebranded them in our CODE line, so only real difference is ours say “CODE” on the bottom, and theirs says “Pok3r”"

apricityThanks, looked like this was the case. So really it comes down to we now have a new Pok3r distributor in the US, who also has the board with MX Greens (haven't personally seen it anywhere else).

pastapinataby the way, the Pok3r weighs a little more. what you say (13 oz) was the weight of the case.

pastapinataThe vortex poker 3 has media keys as well -- it's a firmware update that enables this functionality. The Code 61 keyboard does not have keycaps with the media functions printed on them nor does the poker 3. Finally, on the wasdkeyboard website, they claim that the body construction is made from steel (which is not true) -- it is in fact made from aluminum.
Here is a snippet of what is on the wasdkeyboard site:
