Want so much, but would need an ISO format :( Anyone know if there are any plans in the future to release ISO?

DrDanyoMay I ask why? I changed from using a Nordic layout to this http://xahlee.info/kbd/i/Leopold_fc660c_topre_switch_keyboard_72614.jpg
And I am kicking myself for programming with the nordic layout all these years. When I need ÆØÅ keys, I just use Ctrl+Shift to quickly change layout :) Also, most keyboards here are ANSI, so it also makes it even easier to spend all my hard-earned money for things like this ;)

berryhillHi @berryhill I hear what you are saying, two reasons really. 1. Too old / lazy to train fingers to learn a new layout and 2. working at a UK site it would make things hard having to mentally switch to the different layouts every time I hop on to another machine. ISO UK would be best, but Im considering "settling" for an ANSI. :)

DrDanyoi'm totally in the same boat as you, danyo! especially since i use a mac-iso keyboard right now, which is actually largely ANSI but with ISO size enter and l-shift... which means when i use windows i have to set it to ANSI anyway, which makes one or two keys in the wrong place >.> but i just can't get used to " living on 2 instead of above ' ! ' and " just seem so much more.. "right" placed together to me now.
if i use a real ANSI board that won't be a problem anymore, though it obviously doesn't have £. i guess i'll do some research to see if the programmability lets me make a key do £, in case there isn't an easy way to do it in whatever OS i use.
(i deal with a lot of linux and bsd systems too, so this keyboard using a standard detachable cable is also another plus, but makes relying on programmability more important too)

berryhillIt will be quite inconvenient to switch between ISO and ANSI on a regular basis. Possibly not a problem for people who work only with one machine/keyboard. But I definitely not going to change keyboard on my 2 mobile workstations, plus on my colleagues' laptops, that I need to use from time to time. Already had this experience, so really don't to get back there. (plus ISO layout just make more sense, especially in Europe :) )

DmitryVYup, I agree, its going to have to be iso for me too. I did reach out to the makers who implied that an iso version may be available September time. So fingers crossed.

DrDanyothat's been in progress for a few months, they've been posting it on their facebook. i myself didn't wanna wait tho, and i'm more used to mac keyboards so i wanted " over ' and @ over 2 anyway.. so i'm just dealing with the ANSI enter. the main thing is # is printed over 3 on the keyboard but it's actually still £ for me because my mac is still set to "mac uk" layout, which is basically ANSI layout honestly.
(sorry, this was rambly.)
on their progress shots tho i did like how the punctuation and numbers and stuff were closer together vertically and had some horizontal spacing, it looked like they had better centring on the ISO legends too (their ANSI legends are a little off centre, though that's only rly visible from top down, at the angle you normally look at it it's not very noticeable)

dolljointsSo I got, one and have to say its pretty sweet. I agree it looks like there have been a few tweaks. One problem, their layout maker has incorrectly printed the 2, 3 and ' key caps for a uk keyset. I've raised it and believe they are going to address the problem so just waiting for replacement keycaps, but its hard a bit deal.
