Which keyway is this designed for? Is the follower shown in the second picture included?
mmmmBaconFrom the seller: The VSlot lock has a standard SC keyway (Schlage). The plug follower in one of the photos is for illustration only, it allows us to display the loaded plug and loaded shell more clearly. If you want to make a plug (assuming you plan to disassemble the cylinder for rekeying purposes), you can simply roll up a 1.5" length of thick paper to fit the diameter of the shell. This is an old trick all locksmiths are familiar with, and it works perfectly. Once you roll it into the proper diameter, tape it that way with very thin tape such as Scotch brand transparent tape. Keep in mind that we sell this lock primarily as a practice lock -- though it is absolutely true that you can rekey it by removing the rear retainer cap and using a plug follower or a rolled piece of paper as described above. You should not try this, however, unless you have some knowledge of rekeying, otherwise you may end up with parts all over the place.

Seller beware. Friend dropped off massdrop orders on date promised. Postoffice did not scan for a day. On a $17 item, massdrop is charging him $10 per item because the postoffice scanned the items the next day. He will never sell through massdrop again.
From the Seller: It is not mentioned in the description, but I wanted to let everyone know that these locks can be easily rekeyed, using either the standard method OR by simply prying off the "snap on" top retainer and dumping pins and springs out the top. This snap-on retainer is easily replaced and will not be damaged if reasonable care is exercised.

I have a decent lock picking set. You don't need a see through lock. My grandfather was a spy for USA in USSR, and taught me how to pick all kinds of locks. Never had YouTube or a see though lock. Repetitive practice is good. You will learn how to make additional tools.

To clear up one thing, do t just pick the same lock over and over again, change it up and never pick the same lock twice in a row

CarhaulerI don't even know how locks work. Without guides or videos or this kind of see through locks, I highly doubt I'll ever come close to picking a lock
From the seller: We pin these locks with highly challenging combinations -- no "flat" combos (far from it). They can be rekeyed in the conventional manner (if you have the tools and know-how), or you can simply pop the top retainer off with a flat blade screwdriver to dump the pins and springs and repin the lock that way (the retainer will snap back on with no damage). Hope this helps.

Can these be repinned or is the piece along the top not removable?

WarderIt looks like you can take the tail piece off and repin just like most repinnable locks. The only thing is it only includes the 6 pins that come installed in the lock.
