As a owner of the vsd2, 5 and an-16's i would suggest you would avoid these iems as the quality control and strain reliefs in vsonics cables are well below acceptable standards even for the price. I remember the sound of the 5 being phenomenal but that didn't matter much as they broke within 12 days of light use indoors at a desk. vsd2 and an-16 followed suit shortly after that as well.

AlerixusI'm not affiliated to Vsonic in any way so this is coming from just-another owner: I own the VSD2S, VSD5 and the AN16 (supposed to be a special edition of the GR06). I've used them from the time they arrived to my doorstep. Not one of them broke from my in-office usage i.e., swapping one IEM per day to the next so that they all get used.
The AN16 eventually was given away to my niece and I've no news on how it's fairing. My VSD2S shell had been destroyed by my dog because I neglectfully left it within his reach but the unit is still working.
(do note I've bought these back in late 2014 or early 2015, I can't remember)

AlerixusI've owned the same model that is being dropped right now, the vsd3 red&blue non-detachable. The strain relief on the earpieces, as well as the 3.5 mm jack is underwhelming. However, the audio quality is unmatched in this price range.
