I have seen a couple like this over the years. I would never want to really need this, the containers are too small not enough of what you would need. Like DannyMilks said above you can get much better of less or about the same. Sorry this one is more of a risk then a backup

I got this thing as a gift from a relative a couple years ago. It is quite large, maybe could be used as a weapon? It is rather sturdy built. Theres plenty of useful stuff in it, things that I had been gathering for an emergency kit but had all been easily collected. I had it in a travel bag for a little while, but the switch for the flashlight turns on easily in the bag and the battery is an atypical size. I’ll keep it at home for emergencies, but it’s not really appropriate for a bug out bag.

Weight is 18oz. I'd rather go with an Adv. Medical Kits Ultralight/Watertight 0.9, an SOL survival kit, Lawson Equipment cordage, and an actual headlamp like the Petzl eLite+. Would cost the same, weight less and perform better. But, it wouldn't have the nifty tin containers.

"Looks like a solution in search of a problem."
Isn't that the definition of survival gear?

Man, that is massive. Size is better suited to use as a yak tube than backpacking supplies...

Wow. You can buy better products and more of them separately for a lesser price.

Well this may be the most hipster thing I have seen on here all week.
