Very excited for this, I've been looking for a light strap for my (gasp) Apple watch! I have these lug adapters from Amazon: Apple Watch Adapter, Oittm Stainless Steel Apple Watch Band Connection Adaptor with Screwdriver Tools for Apple Watch & Sport & Edition (Silver 42mm) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0152VX9RC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_LjpDAb8SFY6EP
I think I need a 22mm based on what I read in the comments. Can anyone confirm?

aguptawebI have used those in the past and a 22mm strap works well. Thank you very much, Will

Vulture_PremiumThanks Will! This will be my first time buying a "real" watch strap as opposed to a cheap one on Amazon so please forgive a few more newbie questions... Does the taper refer to the strap itself or the lug? Are there any pictures of a tapered vs. non-tapered strap? I know I need the 22mm, but I'm trying to figure out if I want a 22/20. I just measured my wrist and it is 6.25" (16cm) when measured tight - should I add some spacing for the watch? What size would you recommend?

aguptawebYes, the taper is from the lug down to the buckle portion. So a 22/20 strap would be 22mm at the lugs and taper -2mm to a 20mm buckle. Tapers usually accentuate the size of the case, as in they make the watch case appear bigger. It is purely personal preference as far as aesthetics go. As for your wrist size, a 120/70 length strap should be a good fit.
The straps in the photos are 20/18 so they represent a -2mm taper. A 22/20 strap will have the same proportions. The below photo is a straight 22mm strap. Thanks, Will

Vulture_PremiumThanks! Placed an order for 120/70, but still wondering if I should go slightly bigger (125/75) so it's not too tight. Thoughts?

Vulture_PremiumHi Will! Just got mine and installed it today. It looks great but the 22mm width leaves a little bit of a gap on either side, exposing the end of the pins. I had the same problem with my previous strap on this adapter and the pins kept getting hit and flying off, sending my watch tumbling ... I'm hoping to avoid that with this one. It hasn't happened yet but any thoughts? Is there a spacer or something I can add to keep the pins from being accidentally moved?
