On the base station: It says "800 x 480 high-resolution" screen. That sounds low-resolution to me.
The camera has a resolution of 700 TVL horizontal with a 1MP lens and has a very sensitive sensor and IR lighting for night vison. And sure 5 mins does seem short but it's actually average flight time for a racing quad. We have provided the ability to purchase an extra battery at check out so pilots can stay in the air longer :)
