Bulk order shipped! The vendor informed us that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse in New Jersey. Based on the tracking provided, the order is scheduled to arrive on 12/11.

Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the WE Knife Model 612 Folding Knife and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 12/12.

I bought a Chinese knife off of MD, the Kizer Ti flipper. It is awesome, very tight tolerances, great action, easy to sharpen. I can butcher birds, fish, open boxes, everyday kind of chores. I haven't butchered elk or elephants with it, but it does get used. I know that with titanium scales and S35V steel, an American knife would have been almost double the great MD price, and not noticeably better quality. I don't "check" quality with a microscope, so who cares? If Chinese can make a great product for a great price, I'll buy it. If some of you only buy American knives, good on ya, man...just don't belittle us other budget-minded knife lovers.

looks like you edited your post so im editing mine... Benchmade knives quality is hit or miss, we knives are high quality. benchmade are not as good feeling as a WE knives, we knives are ball bearing knives and most of the benchmades are not. benchmades are mostly axis lock knives and we knives are mostly flippers. you get much better action from the we knives because they are on ball bearings, while most benchmades are on washers. the ball bearings and detent on the we knives are ceramic which is more costly upgrade option in comparison to steel ball bearings.

The disadvantage of being the first seller of this model is that there are limited pictures of these knives. Anyone at Massdrop able to confirm the green for this model is different from the green for the Model 606's? It looks more turquoise in the pictures...
