To this day, I still haven't handled one, and have been successful in avoiding the high end Chinese knives until, well, damn. I'm currently in the FFMD drop and this one. This one - this one tore me up as to which finish to choose. Most of my collection is satin \ stonewash finish, and I'm a sucker for bolsters. The contrast with the black on this blade made me break my pattern. Went with the C...and it was an extremely difficult choice. An aside - Don't know the country of manufacturing origin (there is no indication either on knife or documentation), but the model I purchased of these pictured above: https://www.factorequipment.com/product-category/knives/?filter_steel=cpm-s35vn I have carried since reception. I chose the CF Compact model and there's definite quality. The 50% off coupon code they sent me for being on their mailing list (result of a flashlight drop), no doubt helped. Sorry for the teaser, but that was a 3 day only code. However, even at the current price, I still highly recommend this blade. Excited for this drop, needless to say. My kids don't need food. ;)
