GoKartMozartFor me thats not a hard choice as its titanium+s35vn (stainless) vs g10+d2 (Not stainless) and its only $25 more. But you will have to live with the delivery being in december and also depends on what design you like best.

GoKartMozartWorth it is very subjective.
Do you want them both? Can you afford them both?

namhodI guess what I mean is, is it a good value for the knife.. Yes I'd like to have both and can afford both, but I do not know much about knives. So far, my experience with them pretty much extends to knives like M&P / Schrade that you can pick up at Academy for 30 bucks. I'd like to learn more and have better quality equipment and I wanted to know if this is a good value for the price. I've heard WE knives is top notch, but there are currently no reviews for this particular model that I can find.

GoKartMozartI bought the Crux. S35VN is one of my favorite steels. I don't really like the tanto style of blades so the 709 doesn't really appeal to me personally. But it is a nice looking knife, and probably great quality. I can't vouch for WE, yet, my Crux won't arrive until December!

namhodI went ahead and pulled the trigger on both the WE 709 and the Crux. Thanks everyone for the helpful advice / information.

GoKartMozartI went with the Crux because, while I love the design of this one, it is way too big for general use. If this came in at a 3.5" blade, I would've picked it up the last time it dropped without a second thought.
