I thought I posted this comment this weekend, but cannot find this; At any rate, my 30 already has a defect. After about 6 hrs of listening, the left cable, or unit itself, started to cut out whenever I tilted or turned my head although the problem does occur only intermittently. I had contacted Weststone on Saturday and already have a reply to send it in for repair. Although I am not thrilled to have a brand new product sent in for repair, its better than my prior experiences. You guys may want to keep a copy of your receipt w/your headphone box in case MD goes belly up in the next 2 years:
Westone advised: " For warranty services, a hard copy proof of purchase MUST be provided. Otherwise, products will be considered out-of-warranty, and repair / replacement charges will apply. Products that were purchased from an unauthorized dealer (eBay, pawn shops, third parties) are considered out-of-warranty, regardless of the purchase date ."

DesastorThanks for the tip about keeping the reciept. I will for sure take good care of it, thanks. I think i might just also be good to print out the digital reciept fram massdrop, but dont want to risk it. Still have to wait for mine. They are still in the US, so some time waiting left until they arrive in europe, then 1 month customs.... Should have mine in 6 weeks :(

doktorI have a bunch of IEMs from Westone. They have a pretty good tracking system and know exactly who sold each individual set and exactly when it was purchased.

DesastorHey, I also have a similar defect. while I was putting on my left side earbud on my ears, I was adjusting the wire also which caused some audio loss for a split second, this is something I have never experienced with my Shure's.
