One of the most requested items in EDC polls, the Wicked Edge Precision Sharpener helps you achieve a professional edge on all of your favorite knives. Whether you want to touch up a paring knife, reshape the edge on your favorite fixed-blade hunter, or polish out a burr on your EDC folder, this comprehensive system has you covered. Packed with eight separate sharpening stones, each with different grits, a sturdy mount, and detailed assembly and sharpening instructions, the set makes it easy to hone your blades to a crisp edge with little effort. Mount it on your workbench or add the optional PaperStone base for stability.
Note: At checkout, you can add the PaperStone mounting base (shown in pictures) for an additional (+ $55). Stones will be coarse at first. It’s recommended to start sharpening with inexpensive knives to break the stones in. This drop is limited to 100 units.
How It Works
Once assembled, choose your knife and mark the bevel on both sides with a marker, so you know what angle to sharpen at and how much material to remove. Then, clamp your knife inside the vise jaw with the edge facing up, making sure it’s secure. Slide the red and orange stones into the guide arms, grasp the stones behind the indents, and slide them up and away from you along the edge of the knife with little applied pressure. Start with 100 grit stone and gradually work your way up to 600 grit stone until the marker is completely removed from the edge and it has a nice polish.
