could it be used to share a hotel wifi network where you have fill in a form prior to using it ? if yes can you then see other devices (required to cast on a chromatic).

antineutrinosI have the same question. I have a ravpower device which uses the same software as this, but it has no browser functionality so I can't use it in hotels...

antineutrinosDear antineutrinos, Since most of hotels implement internet access authentication for billing purpose, WIFISD2 should be connected to RJ-45 Ethernet cable provided in the hotel room first, then open browser from a computer or mobile device(Wi-Fi linked to WIFISD2) to launch hotel web page to enter room # and accept internet service charge. Once done, all devices linked to WIFISD2 can share and use the same internet connection technically. However, please check with hotel policy first on how many devices are allowed to share the same internet service charge. All devices linked to WIFISD2 can see each other because they are in the same LAN network.
