Sorry to hear that the fabric doesn't meet your expectations.
As a community commerce site, we list products based on what our community wants. By only offering products that people have requested, and only selling the exact quantities, we're able to offer people very competitive prices versus traditional retail.
With this also comes the responsibility that the community (not us) decides what's "good quality vs bad quality". This print by Windham is extremely popular and many quilters have voted for it and subsequently joined the drops (we've run 3 drop from them so far). https://www.massdrop.com/vote/108-backing-fabric
Consequently, we do not have a refund policy for products because it would ultimately increase costs to the community. In the cases where the product is defective, then we work with the manufacturer to replace it for you.

Thanks again for joining this drop! With your help we were able to make it successful for the community. We've just submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Windham Backing Fabric and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them directly to you! The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 4/14.
Rest assured that we we will provide you all with updated information regarding the status of your order throughout the process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 4/2.

Does this mean the people who were emailed that they are in this drop will for sure get the fabric? It is fine either way but I would like to know for sure since my local store has this but at a higher price.

kris.jarchowIt's possible we'll have to cancel existing orders, and it's also possible we'll be able to fulfill them... We're getting the details today about whether we'll get sent nothing, or a partial shipment, or a full shipment. We should have more information really soon.
This rarely happens but when it does, we try to act quickly to find replacement product or provide refunds asap.

Well, that was annoying. This notice came in my email today. I checked the end date (6 days) , and I checked to see if there was a maximum number (none listed), and then a couple hours later, it's closed.

Sorry for the inconvenience, we just received some troubling news from Windham about their inventory of this fabric. We're looking into the situation and needed to shut down the drop until we get more clarity on it.
We rarely close drops prematurely (or at least without mentioning a limit), but our order with them may have been dropped for some inexplicable reason! We're scrambling right now to get more details and we'll post an update for everyone as soon as we have more information. Most of the east-coast is closed for business at this time so we might not have an answer until tomorrow morning.

Isn't this pretty? I've used Windham backing fabric before, and always been pleased with it. This is a fair price -- only a slight discount if the lowest price is reached -- but drop participants will be very happy with the quality, I'm sure.
