This looks like a broken charge port just waiting to happen...
That cutout at the bottom is specifically sized for a stock iPhone thunderbolt cable, so do keep that in mind.

That looks like such a smal back to hold the phone up. It doesn't seem like it would be very stable, but I could be wrong.

agp54From the pictures on Wiplabs site, it looks like the connector also helps to hold it up, but I don't know how much stress that would put on the connector.

I see it mentions Apple products mainly, but since it has a slot for a cable - can this be used for Android/Micro usb devices, such as the Nexus 5?

TheMattYes, why not? It doesn't appear to be a dock at all, anyway. It's a stand with a hole in it.
