I don't want to hate or anything but doesn't this kind of defeat the purpose of having a human powered watch in the first place ? I mean I still can see the benefits of an automated device to wind my watches because I always fear I might break the small parts when doing it by hand if I'm not careful enough, but still I think it's like a necessary evil. I'm not criticizing anyone, I'm just curious about the reasons you have to get this.

ZareliA watch winder is helpful if you own more than one automatic watch. If you only own one, then you probably don't need it.

ZareliIt's a convenience, and there are myths that oil distribution demands a watch winder, but watchmakers pretty much say it's malarky. Professional opinion on it: https://youtu.be/N5Gnj1rBAPo

ZareliIt's for people who have multiple watches or only wear a watch ocassionally. Keeps it running so you don't have to set the time/date when you want to wear it.

RobotNickThis makes a lot of sense. Sometimes I just don't use the calendar because it takes a while to get it right, but watches without calendar I don't have a problem winding and setting them up once they get drained.
