Somebody convince me that I should get this? :) I only have a HD650 and K7XX atm on the Aune T1 MK2. Would it be a waste for me to spurge on this amp before I get better headphones?

VinnWhat are you using to drive your cans currently? The HD650 responds very well to better amping. Aside from that, if you've been eyeballing the WA7 or are considering it in the next 6 months and have the cash, it's a no brainer. I doubt you'll see another deal like this anytime soon. It's been a while since Massdrop last had these.
Now if you've had your eyes on different hardware or the all-in-one solution isn't your thing, there are a lot of other options available.

VinnI bought my WA7 when it was released. Added the tube power supply when it came out also. It is the best investment I ever made in high end audio - sounds as good as it looks! Insert nos Mullard 12au7 tubes in power supply and you'll never look back. The solid state supply is built like a tank and the amp is great with it also, but the WA7 tp is a serious upgrade. Woo Audio is a very fine outfit to deal with too. I use my WA7 with Beyer t1, Grado RS1i + PS500 and soon the TH900 from last week's drop. Audio nirvana.

MallardUsing the Aune T1 Mk2 Dac/Amp that's currently on Massdrop. Just wondering how much of an improvement will I hear over the Aune. I actually have been eyeballing the Crack or Project Ember but thought that if I'm gonna spend that much I might as well spurge a bit more and consider the WA7 my endgame. Another thing that might convince me is if I don't like it I can always Fleabay it and get most of my money back at this price point.
I want this for the Tube Amp more then the Dac and since I can always get another Dac down the road that's not an issue at all.

VinnYeah as @desertblues said and I've read on head-fi (read up yourself tho) but rolling tubes on the WA7tp seems to have a significant impact on the sound. I've already got some Sylvania JAN's and Mullard tubes on the way. I haven't personally heard this setup but I've had my eye on this for quite a while. Like you, this will likely be my dedicated amp/dac combo for at least a little while. If for some reason, you end up not liking it, I feel you'd be able to recoup most of your cash in the used market.
