I have a couple of inquiries. How flexable are they? Are they easy to double lift? Can you pharoah shuffle or bridge shuffle with them? Lastly, why are they so damn expensive!? And don't give me the "because they're made from carbon fiber" line. That's BS considering I've seen similar decks for cheaper. Just be honest and admit the truth. You need some cash cuz you are all out of the great green ganja. Yup. I'm on to your schemes.

Woof! Just checked out the Photos section for this drop--not only are these playing cards stupid-expensive, but they're also shockingly UGLY! Now we all know what an idiotic idea it was to select Carbon Fibre as a substrate for one-color printing. Here's a complete list of the only surfaces that might have been worse choices:
  1. Any Root Vegetable,
  2. The Garden Soil you found them growing in and,
  3. Your Cat.

Okay, Drop. I see you. You got jokes. Ya' heard that? Drop got jokes! Mad jokes. With all this funny business, I guess they're taking a stab at some comic relief. I mean, price points like this are definitely a knee slapper. So, good on you, Drop. Keep on rippin' those tubes of that stanky danky so you can conjure up even more elaborately comical get money schemes.

Let's just call them what they are since they're on massdrop... "Tactical Carbon Fiber Playing Cards" haha. Good looking deck though.

Looks like yet another DROP Dewey Screwem and Howe - take 45 seconds out of your busy day and use your favorite search engine for Carbon Fiber playing cards $14,99 / $16.99 / $20.00 and on and on and on and... you get my point. Backer beware. As usual for Drop.

SlugnuttyActually my searches come up with mostly coated plastic cards, the true carbon fiber ones seem to run into the $100's. However, some of those coated plastic cards are really unique, good looking decks, that cost roughly $10, some cheaper with coupons, and probably would last as long as you want to have them, and wouldn't hurt your feelings if someone somehow broke one of your carbon fiber ones. I personally own a gold foil deck that you can find on Wish. Had them for 4 years and they've gotten several hundred shuffles and draws and just now have a couple that are peeling from their plastic backing. For the $8 I paid, I got my money's worth.

RayFYeah, and forged by dwarves under the mountain Moria. They also claim that no Ents were harmed in the process of making them, but I think we all know how false that statement is.

Hewitt29You are incorrect. The magic happens when someone BUYS these things.

i guess if you have money to literally burn, these would be neat. That being said, there isn’t a deck of card out there that feels/works better than a standard bicycle deck. You could probably get a near lifetime supply for the cost of one of these decks. They even do some pretty cool art-based decks now.

ChrisWithanFI actually got some holofoil ones from Wish several years back. They're just now starting to wear and they get used quite often. So any deck can last if cared for, it all comes down to personal preference and how much you're willing to pay for it.
