Just finished my build. It was my first and I didn't have any issues, other than soldering 3 led sip sockets in the wrong location. I still haven't figured out how to turn on the leds or program the keyboard. I love the keyboard and the Kailh keys (bronze) and Maxkey Limes from KBDfans. The order was super quick from KBDfans. China to the US in less than a week and I took the free shipping. The keys have a nice feel and the actuation of the switches is much better than the blues that I usually use.
blfincheNot sure if your planning to flash it like I did...
But to help you out, someone has translated the meaning of all the chinese functions here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/6pnpq7/xd64_layout_flashing_guide/
And to flash it you HAVE to use this website:
http://yang.tkg.io/#
Even worse is sometimes it will load looking like a random page, not like the normal TKG.io
If that happens google for it instead or try and remove the "HTTP" at the start otherwise it doesn't load properly...
took me all of yesterday to figure that out, cause once i flashed mine using TKG.io - I lost all the Underglow functionality.
blfincheInteresting...I'm noticing that others' pictures have much brighter underglow than I can currently get going...I programmed on/off and up/down for brightness but I'm not getting anything close to what a lot of people posting pictures of their KB are getting. Like I literally have to look at the KB through the side to see significant underglow and here you're even getting it to reflect off your desk.
blfincheAre you using Yang.tkg.io? cause if your not it won't work even though its displayed on TKG as an option. the new V2 boards can only be flashed via Yang as far as i could get it working at least.
Find my post in the discussions and you will get a tutorial on it.
@justathad No idea why your getting such a weak underglow, did you remove the paper that was on the clear PVC?
When you adjust the brightness are can you see it change at all?
How did you flash it? or have you left it default?
blfincheYour mapping your board via KLE?? and your putting in some FN keys?
Then when you paste your data across your setting the FN keys to RGB Toggle under "Built-in Functions" right?
did you manage to get the underglow to work before you flashed it? It looks functional in your original image,
Are you using the right drop down on Yang? GH60 RevXD Mod
blfincheThe Burn settings look fine to me, I noticed you have FN0, not sure what that is, if thats your default FN Key you should try calling that FN first.
Have you determined if your FN Layer is working at all? E.g. does your VolUp/Dn controls work?
If not then your FN setup is broken.

Try my files, either of the JSON files - load them up in KLE and take note of where the buttons are and then go to YANG, set it as simple, paste my raw data then get my FN SETTINGS.txt and import those by going to TOOLS > IMPORT FN on YANG (Top right) then burn that and see if pressing FN + Q turns it on.
OR
you can just set the LED settings at the bottom based on the image i left in there, and what that does is turn Underglow RED when its NOT in CAPS, BLUE IN CAPS and GREEN with FN pressed.
I recommend trying the 2nd option its quicker and you can use your layout and it should determine whether or not theres an issue with your PCB or not.
NemecysMy FN layer does work. Volume Up/Down, mute, and led for key caps. What is the key sequence to control under lighting?
I also tried your second option, but I didn't see a difference.
blfincheFN+Q on my layout, FN+E to move modes that should show you if its working.
So with my second option using the image in my drive folder, you dont see the underlighting come on when you press caps lock or FN ?
blfincheThe mac could entirely be the problem here, i've never flashed with one and i don't know many who do, if you can get hold of a windows machine i think you will have no problem
if you imported my FN Settings via the text file it should replace that accordingly, it should turn into Default RGB Toggle
