This is my first DAP so i'm not going to pretend i'm qualified to give an in depth audiophile worthy review but I will say that I love it and it's worth every penny. The size is wonderful; it fits in a few of my earbud cases with an iem inside! I love the UI. I love that it has built in storage (not all DAPs at this price point do). I love that it has a full color display. I am only loading CD converted FLAC files with the album art and it displays it nicely while i'm jamming. I love how the battery last forever. You could use this to run your burn-in mixes because it just goes forever. It isn't ridiculously powerful but it will run about all of my buds and iems at my desired listening volume and for the few i want a little more juice for, I plug up my Fiio A5. Can't really complain for the price, but my only reason to upgrade whenever I do will be for more power. And a part of me wants a DAP with two micro sd slots just because I know it exists.

DotnubI’m not a fan of the d3 with the 6xx’s. The amp is the Fiio A5. I think the reason why is because the Sennheisers require so much dog on power. It doesn’t sound bad,but not magical either like when I’m listening to my buds like my Thinksound ts03s, ttpods or 1more Triple Drivers. With the 6xxs i can max the volume on the player and amp on high gain and thats never a nice place to be except for with the highest quality equipment. So I pretty much stick to earphones with the D3 for the most part.
