useless009I wish I could help. The main reason I stay away from win 10 is my precious dacs are working and need to stay so. MAYBE the generic stereo xmos drivers would behave differently...

icecream345345There isn't a direct download for the drivers for this model. You are stuck with either the CD( the CD doesn't support Windows 10) or the third party driver that works with the unit.

useless009I'm sorry dude I no longer use this DAC. The only thing I can tell you is start with the xDuoo site and work you way through the internet. Until you find the similar driver the DAC uses. Good luck

useless009There is a driver that works, you just have to use XMOS website and create an account. Driver works great on Windows 10. Can't give a link, " If you create a MyXMOS account, go your profile page and select the "Reference Designs" tab, there will be a large listing of software and manuals. Find the entry titled "XMOS Stereo USB Audio Class2 Driver (Hi-Res Audio)" and download it. These are production ready, non-eval stereo only drivers for XMOS devices. Not sure why they keep them stashed away behind a login, but whatever."

useless009V2.23 was not always stable before I upgraded with Win7 to Win10, but seemed fine with Win10. After that I downloaded and updated to V3.0.0 (they named it V3.34 for some reason) regardless.

Shiuthose drivers (i guess before they updated) never really worked and i was forced to use the xmos drivers, especially after i upgraded to win 10 and win 10 anniversary, hopefully the work as intended now. Thank you for the update

useless009The older version did work, but I would get the blue screen error sometimes if I had other non xmos version of TUSB drivers (such as Fiio dac's) previously installed. If I remember right, to fix the blue screen thing, I had to uninstall the other drivers and then restore windows 7 to an earlier version that was prior to the installation of the other driver. If you only do an uninstall you may have to do something with the registry to clean out any remnants that may conflict with the Xmos driver. That's one thing I don't like about Xmos, it takes away the flexibility of using other DACs on the same laptop. I am sure there is a way to get around that though. In fact it may be Win 10 won't have that problem but I don't want to try reinstall the Fiio's driver until I can spare one full day to experiment with it. After than that, the TA-01 is a fantastic DAC for the price.

icecream345345Just wanted to chime in and say that this is what worked for me on my Windows 10 laptop. Download this driver and follow the instructions and you should be good to go.

useless009I backed out of this drop because of these windows 10 issues the SMSL dacs drove me crazy with these issues i never get them to work over usb. I dont want to pay 200 or 300 dollars for a dac and it have driver issues unacceptable. Guess ill keep using my getto stack of a Jdslabs odac ziptied to the top of a Jdslabs o2 amp lol
