I was really considering this until I learned the storage capacity was limited to 32 GB. Why is that?

NacMacFeegleHead-Fi reports at least 64GB. I know a few years ago, 64GB was the highest that existed for microSD, so maybe it actually does even more. http://www.head-fi.org/products/xduoo-x2/reviews/12794
I still wish it did AAC and/or OGG, though.

NacMacFeegle@NacMacFeegle & @BetaWolf.I've read that reformatting the card to FAT32 file system enables larger capacity cards than listed for DAPs like the SanDisc Sansa series. Just have to keep the folder structure and files names short. Something to do with limited indexing capacity of the device.
