I am used to quickly glancing at traditionally designed watches to find the time. I have two Xeric watches from Kickstarter promotions. I don't wear them--it's rude to others for me to stare at my Xerics for the period it takes me to decipher the dial. I suppose I could train up to use the Xerics, however I have other watches I like in my rotation, so the Xerics sit. Just my experience, hope it is of some help.
