Optoma has a great lineup of projectors! The HD27, 29, and 143x are all great options. I think the only thing they might be lacking in that price range is a horizontal keyston correction, but other features of theirs are superior to the previous ones I listed. You should be able to get another 2400 lamp hours out of your bulb no problem I would think, and by then you may want to upgrade anyways so I wouldn’t sweat it. Would love to see massdrop give a deal on a mainstream option.

Yeah, when the price is similar, I'd go name brand. I've had an Optima HD20 for years now that I picked up super cheap on closeout and it still works well, even with something close to 2400 hours on the original lamp. Should have gotten a replacement bulb to store when they were still cheap, though. After a while, the price for a drop in assembly skyrocketed so I'd have to order the bulb itself through a medical lighting supplier and that's kind of annoying to deal with for a single unit
