I'm 5 9 and 150 would ypu suggezt the small? I'm not opposed to wearing it as a base layer if it ends up being too small

Just tried one of these on this morning and although it's pretty thin (I normally like my hoodies thick but this one serves a different purpose - breathable and lightweight), the charcoal is one of the softest and most comfortable articles of clothing I've ever worn. Can definitely either be worn as a layer or on its own.

Ooo good question. I was actually wearing a size M (I normally size in between the two, so I can typically go with either/or). Didn't get to try on size L but size M fit me well; I felt like the length of the sleeves and body ran a little longer than normal for a size M.
